Following the statement made by the Hungarian Minister of Finance on restoring the 27 percent VAT levied on new-build property as of January 1, 2020, we received numerous enquiries regarding new projects to be launched in the near future so that customers can still make preferential VAT purchases. Although the projects launched in Fall this year will only be handed over during 2020, price installments (or the whole purchase price if the customer so decides) paid before the end of next year will only be encumbered with the favorable, 5 percent VAT. The respective locations and features of our new projects commencing Fall this year are outlined below.
Constructions of the condominium at Szobor utca in District 13 will start in the second half of September. This five stairwell, 293-apartment residential complex will be located right next to our building in Berettyó utca, handed over soon. Those who could not find the apartment of their liking in this building, can still make their choice from the wide selection of the new project.
Constructions and sales of Phase L of the City Home complex will begin in October, to be followed by Phase M still before the end of the year. Altogether 350 units, mostly studio and one-bedroom apartments, will be built in the two buildings and will surely be just as popular as the ones in earlier phases of the City Home complex.
The last one to begin this year is ’Metrodom Őrmező’, our residential complex in District 11. We have designed seven smaller, 20-30-apartment condominiums here. We offer these apartments primarily to families or couples before having children. The residential complex will await residents with amenities like a club house, gym, sauna, playground and an outdoor experience-pool.
