Location
Metrodom Park is located at the intersection of Gém and Fogadó streets in the 10th district of Budapest. Despite the administrative designation, the area falls outside of the traditional area of Kőbánya; nearby Üllői út connects it more to the adjacent Ferencváros. The area also resembles the ninth district in that it has increased its value and prestige in the past decade. The several buildings built after 2000 in the immediate surroundings of Metrodom Park and the projects currently under construction very well imply the course of development in the neighborhood.
The most important public transportation link for Metrodom Park is Metro 3 via the Pöttyös utca station, located within just 7 minute walk. Additionally, the Basa street station of Bus 99 are only 8 minutes away, making Gézengúz nursery, kindergarten and school an easy reach. The outpatient center, hospital (8 minutes Üllői út), supermarket, the Europark shopping mall are 15 minutes by public transport.
