It is very easy to reach the center of Pest by public transport with the M3 metro line, the nearest stop of which, Gyöngyös utca, is only a few minutes' walk away.
From Gyöngyös utca you can easily reach the city centre by bus lines 105 and 210, or you can cross to Buda, passing important intersections such as Hősök tere, Oktogon and Deák Ferenc tér.
Bus 15 takes you all the way to Petőfi Bridge on the Pest side of the city.
You can also walk to bus 32, which takes you to Örs vezér tere, while buses 30 and 20E take you to Keleti Railway Station. From the Göncz Árpád city center, there are also a number of other connections within Budapest and long-distance.
