The building
The Metrodom Őrmező residential complex will be built between Mikes Kelemen út and Őrmezei út on a huge, nearly 16 ha plot with ancient trees in Őrmező, in the 11th district of Budapest. This quiet neighborhood is an island of peace in Újbuda, only two bus stops away from the Kelenföld railway station and Metro 4. The complex will be built according to the classical American pattern; the plot is fully surrounded with a fence; the internal park and the buildings can only be accessed by the residents. To guarantee that entering vehicles do not disturb residents only pedestrian traffic will be allowed inside the complex, cars will access the underground parking lots through entrance driveways located at the edge of the plot. The complex will consist 193 apartment units in seven four-story buildings thus providing for a family atmosphere.
The seven buildings will be constructed around a community area in the middle of the plot, where residents can relax far away from street traffic. The clubhouse will be located here with a gym and a sauna. There is an outdoor swimming pool in front of the clubhouse. A tiled sun terrace surrounding the pool and the adjacent playground will provide for family recreation. These facilities make Metrodom Őrmező stand out from among the crowd of residential complexes in Budapest.
