The location of Berettyó 2-8. is just ideal. This part of the 13th district is popular for a reason and that is the quiet streets, tree lined walks, lots of greenery, which all lend the area a suburban appeal. The area has gone through significant development in the past 25 years, old houses gave way to new residential buildings, modern office centers have been built along Váci út. As the result of these changes a high standard residential and business area has emerged and constantly rising real estate prices attest to the investment value of the area.
No complaints about public transportation either as the nearest stop of Metro 3, the north-south artery of the Pest side is just a three-minute walk. The bus stop for line 15, which allows a direct service to the city center (Central Market, Corvinus University, all the way to Boráros tér) is just as nearby. The stop for Bus 105 is not a bit more distant providing direct transportation to the City Park (Városliget) or Oktogon sqaure. Night services meet all standards, the stops of Bus 950 and 950A following the route of Metro 3 are at the Gyöngyösi utca corner.
The nearby nursery and kindergarten complex cater for the needs of families with small children (’Igazgyöngy Bölcsőde’ nursery at 3 Gyöngyösi sétány and ’Gyöngyszem Óvoda’ kindergarten at 5 Gyöngyösi utca). The nearest primary school, Tomori Pál School is a five-minute walk and the high school (Németh László Gimnázium) is not far either. The area does not lack good health services, the Madarász street premises of Heim Pál Pediatric Hospital is a few meters away. Nearby Duna Plaza Mall, only a four-minute walk, offers banking and postal services, a pharmacy, many different restaurants and a multiplex movie theater, besides of course a diversity of retail options. There is no need to travel long distances to do the weekly groceries, the nearest superstore, the TESCO hypermarket (3 Gács street) can be reached by travelling 1 stop with the Metro or driving five minutes.
