The building

Metrodom’s latest apartment building is being constructed in a popular part of District XIII, on the corner of Babér street and Madarász Viktor street. The neighbourhood has undergone a virtually complete renovation in the past 20 years, but the many new-build apartment blocks have not altered the area’s suburban character. Babér street 13-15 is in the perfect location; the tranquility of the side street is not disturbed by the traffic on Váci road, but the Gyöngyösi street Metro station and Duna Plaza shopping centre are only a 4 minute walk away.

With its unusual, flamboyant facade the 129-flat building stands out among the other run-of-the-mill residential buildings, while the stepped wings of the building enclose an internal ornamental garden. The staggered, 4 to 8-storey building sections are topped with intensive green roofs, and the beauty of these luxuriant roof gardens is what give the entire building its character. But the building doesn’t only house luxury flats; there’s a wide selection of properties to choose between, from studios through one and two-bedroom apartments to 3-4 bedroom homes designed for large families. All the flats come equipped with a smart home system as standard, including – among other features – intelligent, a remotely controllable and programmable heating system.

The interiors at Babér street 13-15 are also a cut above the rest; the stunning lobby, the huge glass portals, the modern, clean-lined interior design solutions would garner nods of approval even in a premium-quality Central Park apartment building. The building has a concierge service, which guarantees the residents’ peace and security.
In the current stage of planning, the overall design of the building will remain unchanged, but minor details may be subject to alteration!
