The building

City Home is the largest coordinated residential park project in District IX, and will lead to the creation of a new, modern and colorful neighborhood in the area bordered by Vágóhíd street, Mester street and Máriássy street. In addition to the 1122 apartment units already handed over in the City Home complex (Buildings A – H), several new streets, shops, a lot of green space, a closed park and playground have also been constructed.

Apartments 

In the project, which was launched in 2009, a new section of Nádasdy street, two residential blocks and the City Home private playground have been constructed so far. A block of 376 apartments in 83 A-C Mester utca (Phases A-C) with two internal gardens were completed between 2011 and 2013.  The second phase on the corner of Vágóhíd and Nádasdy streets comprising of altogether 490 apartments in four condominiums (phases D-G) were built already as a Metrodom investment between 2013 and 2017. Handing over 544 pieces of property of the four buildings of the third phase (H-K) began with phase H in late 2018 and the remaining three blocks will be handed over continuously in 2019. Constructions of the 349-apartment unit last phase (L-M) on the corner of Mester and Máriássy streets began in late 2018, handover is expected in January and February 2021 The new streets have been given ornamental paving, modern street furniture and lampposts, and an avenue of trees and other greenery have also been planted.
