Learn more about the siblings: the super twins Félix and Feli

2024. November 22. Friday

Felix and Feli are twins. Together they are like the desert and a canteen of water, a nail and a hammer, strawberries and whipped cream. Two completely different natures that exist on their own, but together they form a complete whole.

Feli is a real energy bomb, he can't stay still for a moment. Usually you can just see her with her hair fluttering about, here one minute, there the next. Only her imagination runs faster. She loves to make friends, chats with adults and children alike, and is a great source of amusement with her stories, which draw on her imagination.

Feli is most at home near water. When she was a little girl, her parents were suspicious that an amphibian had come into the family; she would always burst out in loud protest when her parents would take her out of the bath. Now a big girl of almost ten, just under the hood, but she is unmistakably indignant when she has to go home from the Danube, where the community boathouse of the housing estate is about to be built.

Her brother Felix is the opposite. The adventures that Feli has in the outside world he runs in his imagination. He is meticulous and precise in the way he crafts his stories, but his hands are always moving: his passion is modelling. He loves model aircraft most of all and knows almost all types of aircraft in the world, both civil and military. In his stories, he mostly takes on the role of the intrepid pilot in a terrible storm, with Feli as his co-pilot.

The twins' family moved into a 3-bedroom apartment in Metrodom River this spring. Félix and Feli's parents still can't get over the fact that they have found a home in a complex where everything fits perfectly into their family's life.

Feli has since spent all his free time in the playground with the other children. He is a real leader, always with a new idea, and when the parents have time, they walk down to the Danube bank together, can't wait for the boathouse to be built. Meanwhile, Felix is of course working on his latest model of an airplane in the DIY room of the residential complex, or sitting in the reception area with his cocoa waiting for the next box to arrive. He asks for his parcel to be delivered to the parcel machine in such a way that he always ends up with it in his hand, and by the time he opens it, he knows exactly how he's going to put it together. He's looked it up online, down to the smallest detail.

Felix and Feli's parents wanted to live in an apartment complex where the children could move around independently and still be perfectly safe. Just in time, the Metrodom River is completely fenced off, with access to the complex restricted to authorized persons and all car traffic is kept below the surface, so the children can play in the inner park. No car noise, no exhaust fumes, just three hectares of parkland and lots of plants. The twins are free to rollerblade, ride their bikes, play ball, go to the playground and anywhere else in the complex. And in dark and bad weather, they can hang out in the lounge and play in the playroom with others.

And while the twins will have a wonderful and free childhood, parents will also find plenty to do at Metrodom River: they can relax in the gym and sauna with their fun-loving fellow residents and look forward to the completion of the ZEN garden.

When they moved, changing schools was no problem either, with a wide range of nearby institutions to choose from until they found the right one. And the kindergarten and nursery school in the residential complex seems such a great idea that it's not out of the question to add a new member to the family. Moving to a larger apartment within the residential complex is certainly a smooth transition after all.
